Voicemail wouldn't kill ya

If this truly is Verizon, then why not leave a message? People aren't around 24/7 & it helps to know what number to call back if you have multiple missed calls. I've had automated Verizon machines leave messages about other matters before. Non-message missed calls from unfamiliar numbers seem fishy to me

Get this call 2-3 times a day.

I get a call from this number 2-3 times a day. It is very annoying and there is never anyone on the other end. This says it's Verizon, the only problem I have with that is that I have an AT&T phone. Verizon used to call me from another number before. I called the Verizon number from the website and told them about the calls. They told me that it is most likely a scam because they didn't recognize the number.

Blame yourself

Can't blame Verizon wireless. If you pay your phone bill on time, they wouldn't have to call. I actually use this call to tell me I have less than 24 hours to pay my bill. LOL. I never pay it before the call.

Verizon - I only get calls when I'm late on my bill

Pay your bill on time and this number likely will never appear on your phone. Just a thought: if the same number keeps appearing on your phone, but you don't know who it is, yet they keep calling, doesn't it seem rational to just pick up? You can always hang up once you know who it is.

Verizon or Not

Next month my contract expires. I'm dumping them for someone else. I got a call from that number as well.

Stop calling

Morons! To 615-372-2999: stop calling my #. If you had any balls, you would at least leave a message.

Non-Verizon User

I get calls from this number AND I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for over a year, have told them they need to stop calling but they still do. I guess NOW I will have to sue them for the $5000 fine they owe for NOT ABIDING BY THE LAW OF THE DNC registry! SCAMMERS ARE VERIZON!

You can't put yourself on "Do

You can't put yourself on "Do Not Call" status w/ someone you've done business with...just FYI.

See ya later Verizon

Verizon is a giant pain in my nad. I can barely believe that they have the audacity to follow up on their bills in such a ridiculous fashion. If I move and they can't find me, who's fault is that? I'll be switching to Sprint, thanks.

Think about what you posted

"I can barely believe that they have the audacity to follow up on their bills in such a ridiculous fashion. If I move and they can't find me, who's fault is that?" Obviously if you have moved and owe them money how else would they get in touch with you. Also, if you moved, why didn't you change your billing address so they could send bills to you. My grandmother used to say that it is wiser to be silently thought of as unintelligent rather than opening your mouth and proving it to them.

HAHAHA

HAHAHA

Your grandmother had a wonderful chinstrap beard....

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." -Abraham Lincoln Just FYI.

This is Verizon financial services

It is not a scam.

Can't be

It can't be Verizon calling me about a bill. I don't have Verizon.

Whether or not this is Verizon...

Doesn't matter. Ignore the number and dial 611 from your Verizon wireless phone to get in touch with them. Then you won't need this number. If you're up to date on your bills and still getting calls from this number, that's another story, and something to clear up with Verizon. But remember, call 611 from your phone, don't call (615) 372-2999 back!!

Scam

This is not Verizon Wireless. It is a scam.

Yes, it IS Verizon.

Yes, it IS Verizon.

Legitimate Verizon call - how to know?

Unbelievable - I've been ignoring calls from these guys from the longest time assuming it was a scam call. I finally called in (611 on my cell - I don't trust any "unofficial" phone numbers) and got the bill taken care of. What I don't understand is how on earth can companies expect consumers to respond to legitimate emails and phone calls in a timely manner when we're constantly being hammered by scams and spam?

(615) 372-2999

How can I get these people to stop calling? It is a canned message and when I try to call them back to complain - My cell phone is registered on the DO NOT CALL List - I either get a busy signal or a canned message back. Thanks.

Verizon service disconnected

I had been getting calls from this number day in and day out, when all of a sudden my Verizon Wireless service was disconnected. If I had known this call was for my Verizon bill, I would have picked up! I'm back now, but sheesh - if it wasn't for all the darn telemarketers, I wouldn't have run into this problem to begin with. I thought cell phones were more or less immune from telemarketing. I guess I was wrong!

This is Verizon

Yep, this is definitely Verizon. I thought it was a scam call, so I ignored it. Fortunately, this also made me realize how ridiculously expensive Verizon is compared to Sprint, which gets great coverage in my area. After paying the disputed bill, I switched promptly to Sprint. Happy so far with the service and I expect to make up the difference from the bill I just paid in a few short months.
